Peaktrade Holdings Limited is an investment company with special focus on investments in the Libyan healthcare sector.

Their engagement in the Libyan European Hospital is based on two main factors:

• Some partners with family ties to Libya found it a worthy cause contributing to a better health situation and the general welfare of the people
• Libya needs high quality, top tier medical care

Appreciating the humanitarian approach as well as the commercial aspect, the Government of Libya has been providing tremendous support.

Peaktrade Holdings Ltd has therefore been able to establish this enterprise under Foreign Investment Laws No. 5 and 7 which benefits all parties involved.

Hospital commissioning and management

The German based company, "EPOS - Health Management + Alliance of Excellence in Healthcare" is an independent worldwide provider of advisory services in the health sector and currently Germany's largest health consulting company.

EPOS has been assigned to manage the LEH from the day of its opening. In addition to that, EPOS' responsibility is to assure a smooth commissioning prior the opening. This includes such challenging tasks as defining LEHs future services, staffing and HR-policy as well as ensuring the provision of all appropriate equipment in order to deliver the envisaged services.

With its long tradition in managing healthcare projects, EPOS possesses all professional pre-requisites to successfully carry-out the implementation of the entrusted services.

The Alliance of Excellence in Healthcare (AEH) has been founded by EPOS and consists of a network of leading hospitals that are running quality schemes such as Joint Commission, ISO or IQIP. AEH's mission is to support each other in improving quality of care and assist EPOS in the commissioning and management of the LEH with appropriate know how and personnel.
